Have used Citadines in various locations and always been pleased with them but this one probably exceeded my expectations. Particularly good was the large double bed in the room rather than the sofabed normally supplied.

Overall satisfactory, however the room could do with painting in the very near future and the bathroom needs some small repairs around the skirting boards around the bathtub. Staff at the reception desk friendly and helpful.

I stayed here in October 2005. I chose to stay here for its good location. As the object of my visit was to see tourist attractions, the Citadines Bastille Nation served my purpose. Located near to the Bastille area, it was easy for me to access Opera, boutiques, cinema halls, and second-hand shops. I got to taste some of the best international cuisines in numerous restaurants. Also I did some fabulous shopping at Aligre market nearby. Just ten minutes walk from Gare de Lyon Station, I could go anywhere in the city. It was indeed a pleasant experience.

With limited budget I was not sure whether I had taken the right decision by booking the Citadines Bastille Nation. But after staying there for more than a week with a group of 10 friends, it is undoubtedly the cheapest of the Paris Citadines. The service was excellent. We also utilized the ironing facilities and laundry service during our stay for two fortnights. Location was the best part with close proximity to local attractions.

Citadines Bastille Nation has all the quality that you are looking in an accommodation. The central location of the apartment is the biggest asset. Our stay had been superb as it was located in a suburban neighborhood with plenty of cafes, restaurants, bakeries and grocers. With Metro just around the corner, we went to local attraction and came back in no time. The rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. The staffs were very polite and helpful and spoke some English as well.
