Regent Street 2009- A Taste of Spain

Regent Street will be closed for the traffic as it would be celebrating the Regent Street Festival with the theme "A Taste of Spain." Regent Street will be crowded displaying performances from twelve of the Spanish regions which includes the dancing horses from Menorca, a Fashion Show from Andalucia, giant Paellas from Valencia, Arts and Crafts from Green Spain, activities for and by children from the Canary Islands and a Spanish market selling local produce. In the event you can enjoy live performances including Flamenco, music by traditional Spanish bagpipers and more taking place on the main stage situated at the junction of Regent Street and New Burlington Street.
Regent Street stores will too be contributing to the festival by organizing shopping promotions and competitions. On the Regent Street 2009, Heddon Street and Swallow Street, Regent Street’s food quarters, will have live performances throughout the day to entertain the al fresco diners.
