To commemorate the founding of the Organization of African Unity in 1963, an organization that is now known as the African Union, Africa Day is an annual event that takes place. This festival celebrates African culture, music, dance, arts and crafts, markets, food and drink. The eighth annual Africa Day focuses on the "Investment Climate in Africa: Navigating the Global Downturn". The discussion will take place under four panels:
1) Innovative Financing in Africa
2) Natural Resources: Curse or Blessing
?3) China's Growing Influence in Africa
4) Growth Sectors Beating the Downturn
Visitors can participate in the annual Africa Day and throw light on the discussion.
