Dreamhouse has now aquired five luxurious apartments in a newly refurbished Georgian townhouse located at 19 Abercromby Place in central Edinburgh. The apartments are situated in the heart of the city, only a few minutes walk from Princess Street, Edinburgh Castle and the old town. Abercromby Place was historically named after a Royal Navy General, Sir Ralph Abercromby, who was killed in battle at Aboukir Bay in 1801. We offer a choice of 1 or 2 bedroom apartments, free car park, internet and fully furnished to a high standard.

Apartment Amenities

This newly refurbished property has a choice of one or two bedroom apartments.  Each with a large lounge where you can relax on a luxury settee, at the warmth of the fire place and enjoy panoramic views of this historical city.
The apartments are furnished to the highest Dreamhouse standard, flat TV screen, fully kitted kitchen, luxurious bathrooms, WiFi, and car park on request.
We also provide a housekeeping service Monday to Friday including quality bed linen and towels.
Children are most welcome at Dreamhouse. Travel cots and high chairs can be made available for very young children. Z-beds can provided for older children (up to 12 years) for an extra charge.

- Exit the motorway at Junction 1
- At roundabout take the 3rd exit, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A71 (signposted Edinburgh West).  Stay on the A71 signposted city centre. 
- Then turn left onto the A70. 
- Turn right onto the A8. 
- Turn left onto Queensferry Street. 
- Bear left onto Hope Street. Continue forward onto Charlotte Square. 
- Continue forward onto Glenfinlas Street. 
- Turn right onto Charlotte Square.  Bear left onto North Charlotte Street. 
- Turn right onto Young Street. 
- Continue forward onto Hill Street.

CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICY

The cancellation and amendment deadline is for 3 working days (monday to friday) prior to the arrival date by mid-day (12:00) London time. This cancellation policy will also be stated on the confirmation.

• All cancellations and amendments/alterations should be made in writing by fax or by e-mail. Enquiries about cancellations and amendments can be made on the phone first but must be followed by a written confirmation by fax or by e-mail.

• Any reservation cancelled more than 3 working days prior to the arrival date by mid-day (12:00) London time, will incur only a £25 (GBP) processing fee. This amount will be deducted from the refund issued the same day of the cancellation and a confirmation of the cancellation will be forwarded to the guests. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.
  Any reservation amended (amendments include modifying the arrival date and adding or reducing the number of apartments or nights) more than 3 working days prior to the arrival date by mid-day (12:00) London time, will incur only a GBP 25 (GBP) processing fee. This amount will be deducted from any refund issued or added to any extra charge made the same day of the amendment and a confirmation of the amendment will be forwarded to the guests. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5 percent (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.Please note that although the length of stay can be extended, there will be no obligation from the property to allocate the same apartment or to apply the same rate.If the duration of the reserved stay is to be shortened, then the applicable tariff for that shorter duration will come into force.

• Please note that a change of rate for a shortened or lengthened stay will be applied retrospectively: the new rate will be effective from the original date of arrival.

• Any reservation made or arriving within 3 working days prior to arrival will be non-refundable and non-exchangeable. All reservations made and not used (non-arrival / double bookings) without the reservations being amended or cancelled prior to arrival will also incur a full charge.

• Clients are responsible for contacting Apartotels.com directly for any amendment or cancellation and as advised above any change or cancellation will only be actioned when a request in writing is received. Any amendment or cancellation made directly with the property will not be considered valid. Any request to cancel or amend a reservation cannot be considered complete until you receive our confirmation. Until you do your booking will still be considered valid as originally made so please ensure you contact us if you do not receive a confirmation of your cancellation/amendment within 1 hour of your initial written request if made during normal business working hours, or within 1 hour of our opening times if your initial request is made overnight or at weekend.

LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY
For a cancellation notified at any time after mid-day (12:00) 3 working days (monday to friday) prior to the arrival date or for a 'no show', Apartotels.com will retain an amount as follows:

• for stays of under 7 nights, the value of one night's stay;

• for stays of between 7 nights to 27 nights, the value of three nights' stay; and

• for stays of more than 28 nights, the value of seven nights' stay.

The above amount will be deducted from the refund issued. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.

MODIFICATION TO A RESERVATION, OR TO THE DURATION OF STAY, AFTER ARRIVAL
After arrival any modification to the length of stay will be subject to a £25 (GBP) processing fee if the length of stay is being reduced.

If the duration of the reserved stay is to be shortened, the applicable tariff for that shorter duration will come into force and both the new rate and processing fee will be taken into account before any refund is made. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.

If the duration of the reserved stay is to be extended (subject to availability of course), there will be no obligation from the property to allocate the same apartment or to apply the same rate.
